Day 87: Training Log

Today was the last day of the semester. I am very happy with my results throughout the semester. A big thank you to Coach Kelly for being a great teacher and role model in the classroom day in and day out. Thanks to Brennan for giving great advice from someone who has been doing weightlifting for years and has tons of experience. Thank you to my classmates for motivating me everyday to be my best in the classroom.

Day 74: Training Log

One healthy decision I made over the break was to stay active even though I was on vacation. I was doing workouts on the beach and at home.

One goal for me is to set a new max in all of the lifts we do in class. I think this is possible if I put the work in. If I do not put effort into achieving my goal, I will not get it.

Day 70: Training Log

This week I got a new max in both bench press and strict press. My biggest success this week would probably be my new max in strict press. I didn’t expect to set a new max in strict press because I find this lift really hard. Also, I find it is tougher to add weight than the others.

My biggest setback would be the fact that I was unable to lift any lower body exercises. This made it so I was putting too much stress on my upper body and wasn’t giving it a break.
