Day 65: Training Log

I tested bench press today. I set my new max of 145 lbs for 3 and 155 lbs for 1. My 145 didn’t actually feel that tough as I feel like I could have done 2 more reps.

My test went well because I have been working on my form. Also, in class I have been getting stronger, so at this point I expected to set a new max.

Day 57: Training Log

I don’t mind adding the push press onto the clean. To change from just a clean to a clean and jerk you obviously have to lower the weight a bit. But overall, I don’t find clean and jerk to be too difficult.

The clean by itself is a full body exercise, but adding the jerk onto that just adds the the load on your whole body. Therefore, this exercise will be leaving you sore tomorrow.

Day 56: Training Log

Before Christmas break, I would like to reach a new max in at least one lift. Also, I would like to show that I am a true leader in this class before the break.

For the new max, I will need to practice my form for my lifts. If I get a new max, I think that is how I will get it. To show that I am a leader, I will need to make sure I am always on task. Also, I will need to help others in any way possible.

Day 55: Training Log

I really like the idea of the sleep/screen time log. I personally use my phone way too much and this log really helps me open my eyes about how much I am on my phone. I should be using my phone a lot less and going to bed earlier.

I think my effort this week has been a 7 out of 10. I think I could work harder but I am still putting in effort. In following weeks I will try to be able to rate myself a 9 or 10.

Day 37: Training Log

I always love the tire flipping. I find it difficult but it is also fun having a laugh with your friends. This isn’t my first time doing the tire flipping. I love the tire flipping because it works your whole body and leaves you extremely sore the next day.

Really the only thing I would do differently would be to try to go faster.
